Rahul Mishra, the first Indian designer to showcase at the Paris Haute Couture Week champions slow fashion with traditional Indian textiles. The winner of the International Woolmark Prize 2014, with his eponymous label represents the finest handwork; handwoven, hand-embroidered, and handcrafted in India, for the world.

In a very short span Rahul had attracted the admiration of fashion’s most influential personalities; International Fashion Editor of Vogue, Suzy Menkes, an avid follower of his work, regards him a “national treasure” while the late Franca Sozzani has praised him as “successfully highlighting the best and most peculiar features of his homeland.” Amongst his many accolades, Rahul has been featured on the global influential list of ‘BoF 500’ for 4 years consecutively and more recently was awarded the ‘International Fashion Award for Sustainable and Ethical Brand’ by Chambre Monegasque de la Mode at the Monte Carlo fashion Show. In the year 2019, he was also graced by the prestigious ‘National Award for Special Achievement in Fashion’ by the Ministry of Textiles of India and the ‘Rare Talent of the Year’ award at the Centre du Luxe Summit, Paris.

A master storyteller, Rahul Mishra showcases his ready-to-wear line in the official calendar of Paris Fashion Week and his annual couture collection at India Couture Week. In addition, the brand is also charting new territories after their first runway presentation at the Paris Haute Couture Week. The brand retails through some of the best stores globally and has two flagship stores, each in Mumbai and Delhi.
